I am a sole user and I want to boot staright to the
desktop. How do I configure so I dont have a user or
password screen come up first?

1) Make sure your account is set to use the Welcome Screen.
2) Make sure there is no guest account activated.
If you have the Guest Account activated, the Welcome Screen will always
pause and display both your regular account, and the Guest Account, for
choosing. Also, if there are more than ONE account on the Welcome
Screen, it will ALWAYS pause and display them all for choosing.
