standby option

Hi, The standby option from my start menu is not working,
when i press turn off computer, i usually have the chioce
of turn of, restart, or standby, but standby seems to be
unavaliable, how can i fix this?

Visit the support website of the manufacturer of your computer or video =
card.
Search for the latest Windows XP compatible video adapter drivers.
Download and install them in accordance with the installation =
instructions.
After installing the correct drivers, you should have the Standby =
button.
