How do I group similar programs under one folder? I have turbotax ’04 ’05
’06 ’07 and turbotax business ’04 ’05 ’06 & ’07. How do I put them all under
turbotax and when I scroll over the new folder it will then list all of the
programs?

Edit the folder layout under C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Start Menu
and C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu to be organized the way
you desire.

1. Right-click on Start menu and click Open.
2. Double-click on Programs folder to Open it.
3. Right-click on an empty area within the same folder and point to New -
Folder.
4. Give a name like "Turbotax" and hit Enter key.
5. Now, drag and drop the other Turbotax folders like '04', '05', '06' &
'07' on newly created Turbotax folder.
6. After you finish, Click on Start - All Programs - and check if you have
made it right. Right-click on any item under All Programs and choose Sort by
Name.

Hope this help, let us know!

Right-click on the Start button and select Explore or Explore all
users. A window will open, with "Programs" and perhaps other folders
in it. Double-click Programs.

Within Start Menu\Programs, you'll see a lot of shortcuts and some
folders, depending on what you've installed. Create whatever grouping
folders you want, and drag shortcuts and folders into them.

You can check the effect by left-clicking on the Start button and
then Programs.

Once you have the folders set up as you wish, close the Start Menu\
Programs folder. Left-click the Start button and Programs, and drag
the shortcuts and folders into the order you want. You can also
right-click on any submenu and select Sort by Name, then drag any
exceptions you want to make in the alphabetical order.

One thing to be aware of is that if you move a shortcut then the shortcut
won't be removed if you uninstall the product.
