When exploring my files in My Documents I can't get the file type to
display. I made sure that type is checked in View/ Choose Details, but is
just doesn't work.
Can someone help me?

Hi, Ron.
The default setting for WinXP Pro is to hide extensions. (I do NOT
understand why!)
Click Control Panel | Folder Options, the View tab. In the Advanced
Settings box, under Files and Folders, remove the check box from Hide
extensions for known file types.
