My Documents folder in Windows XP opens up every time I
start up my system. How can I prevent this? I never had
this problem and it started after updating Windows XP

Hi August,
Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Change the key that reads:
C:\Windows\System32\Userinit.exe,C:\Windows\System 32\Userinit.exe
To:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,

Thank you Kelly,
Sorry to say that both suggestions did not solve the=20
problem. The key C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe was set=20
to that value and downloading and installing the registry=20
editor userinit did also not help. Do you have any other=20
suggestions?
