I have got message :the instruction at 0x0043c837 referenced memory at
0x00000008.the memory could not be read- when trying to open my leadtek usb
tv tuner aplication .what's this error mean?. thanks for the help.

If you get that error *only* when running that app...
then the application itself is probably at fault (and you should see if the
mfg has it fixed by going to their website)
However...as a precaution...it would not be a bad idea to run a RAM test

It means that a program tried to use memory it is not allowed to use. Memory
addess 0x00000008 is totally off-limits for applications. Developers get
messages such as this quite often.
Hopefully you know what the program is and can get help from the developer
and/or vendor.
