When you get a contact who has "unverified" against his name, is it your

responsibilty to verify him? If so, how is this done please?

There is such scant information in the "help" index in Messenger!

Greetings Tassie,

The 'unverified' contacts are people who haven't clicked a verification link in the
verification e-mail that is sent to you when you create a Live ID.

There's nothing you can do about it, as they are the ones who need to click the link to
verify themselves. If you want to help them along, then can request another verification
e-mail sent to them here:

Thanks very much Jonathan,

When I click on that verification link that you left, it just says that you
are already

verified. Do you know if it will work if I send this link to the unverified
contact?

Will they then re-send him a link in his e-mail?

Have a happy new year!

Hi Tassie,

As I said, you're already verified so that is normal.

Yes to both of your questions.
