hey...
i recently bought a new HD for my computer to replace my
old one, which means i need to install XP again...
(although it previously had Win 98 on it)
i tried using the Restore disks, as well as teh XP CD
itself, but i cannot get it to run/install...
is there a step-by-step XP installation guide anywhere?
id appreciate help on this, thanks :)

Why reinstall? Why not used the tools that came with the drive to clone the
OS image? You'll save a lot of time and aggravation that way.
