Hey,
I am running XP Pro Legal copy Full non beta. When my computer is inactive
for some period it looks normal the sounds the frequent access to my hard
drive and router connects seem fine and everything but say if I come back
like 2 hours and try to open my computer it will lag, then crash and when I
say more info it says the crash was caused by something called ntdll.dll
nothing really fixes this. No patch or anything. I was wondering if service
pack 2 is coming out soon and if it will fix my problem or if you can solve
it for me. Thanks in advance.

SP2 will not fix your problem. You have either an application, device or
device driver that has problems with power management or your screen saver.
Assuming this is a desktop, disable all power management. Choose a different
screen saver.

What are you using for AV scanning and is it configured to scan when the
system is idle?
Also, disable power management functions in the BIOS.
