desktop shortcuts

I have contacted Microsoft and still have no solution to my problem. I use
desktop shortcuts and last month ALL the shortcuts that are suppose to open
to a wensite will not respond at all. Other shortcuts, such as to Word or a
specific pdf file, open without a problem. I always update Windows and have
Internet Exp. 7. This happened without warning. No viruses or any changes
on my pc. I would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks! Cam
