View Full Version : Why does "normal window" cover just half the screen?

Whenever I open IE7 the window covers only hald my computer screen.
I have to click full screen to get a usable window. Where is the
setting to fix this? TIA

Hello,

"grab" the sides or the corners of the opened window and drag the
window to the size you want.
If by chance the window won't open next time in the same size, reset
the size you want, hold down the Ctrl key and go to File => Close.

Alternatively, right-click on the shortcut you use to open Internet
Explorer and click on 'Properties'.
In the 'Run' dialog box, select 'Maximized'.

LOL. Thanx for showing me the path to resolution. I had tried
this, over and over, without success so assumed it was the wrong way
to fix. When you told me that it was the right way to fix I realized
that I had to look for some other approach. >>>I was making this
change in a shortcut to IE. When I deleted the shortcut, went to IE
via the start bar, and made the fix, it stuck.
