Media player 11 recently added to library files

how do i clear off the recently added to library listings so i don't have to
search thru them all to find new various artists just ripped into lib rary?
after i've finished working with my new listings I'd like to clear the
recently added to library listings to a blank page without loseing any
content from the library itself? any remedies would be greatly helpful to me.

I don't think you can. And if it is working properly for you (i.e.
showing stuff you actually added recently) then thank your lucky stars.
Some of us (notably those in the dd/mm/yyyy part of the world) don't
have this luxury.
I add about one CD a week. Sometimes "recently added" shows nothing,
while at other times it shows months worth of stuff. This is,
apparently, "not easy to fix". I'm thinking of emigrating to the US to
get around this problem, but that might have unwanted side effects.
Especially as the IRS has me on their wanted list.

You shouldn't have to move here. Just change your regional settings go
mm/dd/yyyy.
