After a while the Windows Messenger automatically signs me out. How do I
remain signed in all the time?

Greetings,
If at all possible, I'd recommend using Windows Live Messenger instead:

The old Windows Messenger client can do what you're describing in some networking situations
that Windows Live Messenger has since fixed.

Jonathan, you are the Man! I was having this problem. I had to replce my old
Linksys Router with a new Linksys router and the problem started. With your
advice, I installed the Windows Live Messenger and it works great. No more
signing off and back on.

Hi,
You'd think that some of these things would be addressed with newer hardware too but alas...
Glad to hear it :)
