I'm trying to download Net Framework 1.1. I get error message 1935.
HRESULT:0x80070005. Also it seems my OS is not working right. Sometimes when
I open the start menu, nothing will work. If it does and I try to close start
menu it doesn't close completely, only partially. It will leave remnants on
the screen. Sometimes I can't get programs to close. I reformatted the hard
drive and re-installed OS. Still doesn't work. I just tried to download IE7.
It got to the point of saying installing updates and just continued to run
for about 2 1/2 hours. It didn't download. I finally had to power it down.
Does anyone have an idea what's going on? I will appreciate all help. It is a
Dell Demision 2400 with XP. Thank you, James

Run a RAM diagnostic tool. Flaky RAM can cause all kinds of grief.
