View Full Version : Registry Editor will not open

Upon the advise of Norton Antivirus in response to a
worm, I tried to open the Registry Editor but each time I
typed in "regedit" the Registry Editor flashed on the
screen but would immediately close. I also tried
typing "command' and then "regedit" but got the same
results. I also tried replacing the file "registry.exe"
but this did not help either.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com and you should be able to get it going.
