I'm having a problem updating updates from Microsoft Updates.

There is no error message it just reads the following updates did not install
and that means all of the updates.

Does the account you are using have administrative privileges?

I'll take a guess .... ignore the kb title as it applies even if you haven't done a repair
install etc

Crystal ball sez ....... Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from
Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP installation

as that NG deals with more than just Windows XP)
