I have a user who logs in fine to the domain but when he clicks on a drive
that everyone has access to, it lokcs his account out. On any other computer,
he is fine accessing that network drive. This is about the 4th time this has
happened to different users with OS Win XP Pro. Everytime I have had to
rename their profile on the comupter and let it recreate a new one to fix
this problem. i can't be the only one this happens to. Can anyone help?

The admin on those machines needs to set the drive as a Network share. This
would take unchecking 'use simple file sharing' in Folder Options.

Thanks. I'll try that.

I forgot to mention that he just recently had this start happening. What gets
corrupted in his profile on that machine?

I don't know that. Something in their Permissions settings is changing. They
may be installing some app that does that.
