When I restart Windows XP Home, I get two error messages:
[1] "rundll32.exe - Bad Image
The aplication or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\drnecaum.dll is jnot a valid
Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
--How does one do this check?
After clicking OK, the following appears:
[2] "RUNDLL
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\drnecaum.dll
%1 is not a valid Win32 application."
--What should I do about it?

And lately another has cropped up:
[3] "jnsched.exe - Bad Image [that might be jusched.exe]
The aplication or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\vturspo.dll is jnot a valid
Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
--How does one do this check?
Thanks for your assistance.

Some Windows Vista functions may not work, or Windows Vista may stop
responding: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

SFC will probably take care of that.

I don't have Vista; I'm using XP Home [read my note], so I don't have any
idea what your words mean.
What is SFC?

The command from start/run would be:

sfc /scannow

It should repair damaged system files.

You need to do a search of your system for the file drnecaum.dll and see
what application is trying to use it as it is not a windows system file. If
that fails turn off all startup items and see if that gets rid of it. If so
you need to trace down which program is using it.

It isn't a valid system file so sfc won't find anything as it compares only
system files to their validity.

You might want to update and run whatever antivirus program is installed on your
system. For further advice on removing malware, take a look at this web site.
