I have a ProView plug and play and had proper display setting but had to
reinstall windows XP Home edition and now cannot get the proper display
settings and unable to find driver for it.

Most likely you did not reinstall the correct drivers for the computer video card.
That would take care of any plug and play monitor

Without the proper make/model being provided or where you searched for a driver,
the best I can do is provide a link to check their site:
http://www.proview.net/Support/Download.aspx

Although most monitors display just fine with the default XP drivers installed,
others are troublesome. Have you tried adjusting the monitor via its OSD.
