I followed the suggestions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/spellcheck.htm
to try to activate spell checking in my Outlook Express. I find I do
not have the spelling 'tab' he describes.
What am I missing?
Thanks

Outlook Express does not contain a spellchecker of its own. To use this
facility, a version of MS Word needs to be installed on your system, either
as part of the MS Office suite, or as part of the MS Works package. Once
that's installed, the spellcheck option will appear in the 'new message'
window and also under 'tools' then 'options' in OE.
Hope this helps.

OE does not come with a spelling checker. It uses the spelling checker from
any other 32-bit Microsoft program that has one. Do you have such a
program?
If not you could try one of these:
Free spellchecker.
