Drag n Drop

Drag 'n Drop is a common Windows phase. All you do is
click and hold items with your mouse and drag them to
another location. For CD burning you would just drag n
drop the files to want ona cd into your cd-rw drive in my
computer, then just click burn. InCD is packet writing
software which Windows XP doesnt support. you can still
use nero or other cd burning products but Windows XP just
has CD burning feature built into the shell.

or only output to a CD, not input from a CD?"

If you mean "input from CD" like making an ISO or BIn/CUE
image, no, windows XP will not do this, but again other
third-party software will.

Basic cd burning features are included in XP to make it
easy to burn a CD without extra software or extra
knowledge.
