i dont know how or why this changed.
when i double click a file folder the "find" command
opens.
i went into the folder options, then file types, then i
clicked file folder, and advanced, and the action listed
is "find" .
i want to remove that and make it open
im assuming that is what i need to do in order for my
folders to be back to normal. (i want a folder to open
when double clicked).
what do i do tog et it back to normal?

Zac

Get the following file from MVP Kellys website, it will automatically fix
this problem.

Click the link to download and double click the file.

Or simply change the folder options...

In windows explorer:

Tools > Folder Options

Go to the File Types tab

Scroll down and select File Folders

Click Advanced

Add an Open function with the following path: C:\windows\explorer.exe

Hope this works for your situation...
