I have a laptop with Windows XP and want to install
Windows 98. It tells me that I have to restart my
computer in MS-DOS mode and then reinstall but I can't
see how to do this.

Hi Dave,
you use your Windows XP CD rom and follow the instruction

You can have both Win XP and Win 98 installed called dual boot

BTW why would you go back to Win 98 when Microsoft will not be supporting
that Operating System in future?

I agree, Windows 9x sucks. I'd stick with Windows 2000 or XP pro.
