Greetings,

For the life of me, I cannot figure this one out.
My primary (C) partition is 8.25 GB. I just recently noticed I only have
579 MB left.
Exploring down C, I have 3 directories: Docs and Settings at 2.1 GB; Prog
Files at 1.4 GB; Windows at 1.2 GB.
Now, according to my math, that totals to 4.7GB, leaving me with at least
3.2GB.
So, where has my 3.2 GB gone????
Can anyone help me out here??

TIA

Well.. I've emptied out Hibernation.. and reduced Pagefile, as well as
System Restore .. and Temp Files, and Prefetch goes without saying. I've
gotten my free space back up to 1.4 Gigs. Thanks...
Yet.. I'm still missing over a Gig.
Strange stuff these MS OS's.

It's not missing, you just haven't discovered where it is. When you do you
probably understand why it is there.
