View Full Version : Printer issue

Recently my DeskJet 930C has been popping out frequent warnings to do
manual paper feeds.

Is this more likely a hardware problem or a software problem?

Inexpensive printer.

My suggestion is to uninstall the software, reboot and install the latest
software from HP for your printer. If that does not remedy your issues
*and* you check the configuration (to make sure you did not change something
that tells it to ask you what tray to use) - then the printer may have
issues and you shoudl either contact the manufacturer or replace the
printer.

posted in the wrong group. This is not a printer group. The best thing to
do would be to go to the support website of your printer manufactuer and
check there. You may need to install the most current drivers. You should
probably have much better luck getting an answer there.

Thanks.

Can you recommend a decent printer group? I tried comp.periphs.printers
and found it filled with foul mouthed children to the exclusion of useful
answers.
