Hi, I have a problem with my laptop running XP Pro. Whenever i try to shut
it down, I get a message that the program is not responding and asks if I
wish to End Now. At the top is ccSvcHst. Can anyone tell me what the
problem is and how I can (easily) fix it? Many thanks.

Check the links below... the first webpage explains what the ccsvchst file
is and how to fix the problem, they also recommend some software, do not
download it, the information is good but not the software.

How to fix ccSvcHst Problems
http://www.instant-registry-fixes.org/how-to-fix-ccsvchstexe-problems/

How to remove ccSvcHst error
http://www.file.net/process/ccsvchst.exe.html

Also, if the ccsvchst file uses close to 100% CPU usage when viewed in the
Task Manager, it could be infected and you need to scan with an
antispyware/antitrojan to disinfect it.
