I can't figure this out.
I ran sysprep on my XP box because Norton Ghost suggested
this to create an image.
After I boot, I logon to my box and the below message
comes up,
"A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking
the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x80090006."
The Microsoft KB says to modify registery keys that I
don't have. This newsgroup is my last resort before I blow
away and reinstall the OS.
Please help.
Thank you
Jim

Hi Jim,
Were you referring to this article?
Err Msg: "Code 0x80070002" After Upgrade from Win2000 on Dell [Q310794]
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=3D310794
I would think the only part that would concern you is the section where =
you need to delete two keys. As to the drive letter key to change, I'm =
pretty sure that key has to exist in all installations.
