Hi, I have Windows 2003 AD and Windows XP Pro PCs. I want to set some PCs to
install and use a specific network printer for every user that logs on to
that PC. I did this several years ago on a PC and remember using the
registry. Time has moved on and maybe it's via GP or login script now. Can
anyone offer detailed advice on how to do it. It is a small group of PCs (not
every one) on the domain that need this facility and the printer is a
networked printer, sitting on one of the servers.

Thanks

the least complex is the solution included in Win2k and later OS, rundll32
printui interfaces.

If you have updated the domain schema in the past year you can also use
Deployed Printer Connections
