REQ: Changing Removable Cartridge drive using XP

Suppose I have a c drive (to boot XP from) and a d drive which is a
removable cartridge drive.

If I install XP this way, and activate it, then will XP still run when
I change the hard drive in the cartridge to a different hard drive?

Yes it will, as long as you install XP on C:. XP activation is not
influenced by changing additional drives.
