connecting with road runner

Does anyone have some basic directions for setting up Road
Runner (at home) using Windows XP where the computer is
already configured for a work network with a DSL?

Unless you need to specify a proxy setting or use their connection
software, open a cmd prompt and run ipconfig /release, then ipconfig /renew
and make sure you have an IP address from their network and you should be
all set. Just open your browser and surf away.
