When I click on a link in an OE message, a very small
window opens. How can I get it to open a full-screen
window?

Click on the square in the upper-righthand corner for the current one.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
