View Full Version : Can't run or design some Access 2003 forms now after XP SP3

I recently upgraded my pc to Windows Service Pack 3. I am working on
a new client software delivery. I keep the latest code in one central
location and when preparing a new release, I start with a blank
database and use the import function to import all queries, reports,
forms, macros, and modules. After doing this, there are certain forms
that I can not view either in "open" mode or "design" mode.
When I try to open up the form using a menu pick, I get an error
"Microsoft Jet engine could not find the object..."

Again, this is happening with about 10% of my forms (I'm not having
problems with any reports, queries, or modules).

I have tried restarting my pc, starting from a blank slate again, I
downloaded a patch for Access 2003 (Hotfix 3, issued at the end of
2007). Nothing is working.

NOTE: This symptom is not happening in other already established
client versions of the same software. This is only happening as I'm
trying to create a new delivery.

Any help from you would be greatly appreciated. I'm at a standstill
right now!
