Unable to browse all members of an established work-group. Formerly t his
did work and worked for years.
The details --
3 Workstations - all WinXP, 2 wired through an auto negotiating switch
getting DHCP from a Sonicwall on a 192 range address. The third is a
wireless workstation getting addressing from the same Sonicwall on a 172
range address.
All workstations have software firewalls installed (2 Zone Alarm and the
wireless one is by McAfee)
Ping by IP works fine, but the wireless workstation unable to be reached via
NetBIOS name ping. However when trying to ping the wireless workstation by
NetBIOS name IP resolves but returns time out. LMHOST file on wired
workstation reflects wireless workstation - since there is no other resolver
for NetBIOS. Also on Wireless workstation LMHOST file reflects the wired
workstation that is unreachable.
Lastly - NONE of the workstations able to be browsed from the wireless
workstation - as though browsing is no longer functioning over the air.
