I own a chat program Client/Server that was based on XP Multi Lobbies and
Rooms with audio and video using directshow. users have a button they can
hold down to talk and when released others can use the button "push to talk"
and we have 3 video cam windows.

If a vista user trys to log into the lobby they must right click on exe and
and do this in compatability mode XP sp2. This will let them in any
Lobby..but if they try and enter a Room where the audio and video lives they
get this error:

"interface not supported"

The chat program is apparently not compatible with Vista. This isn't an XP
issue and your question would be better suited for a Vista developer's
newsgroup. If you aren't the creator of the chat program (your post is
ambiguous in this respect), contact the creator for updates, workarounds,
patches, etc.
