I have been recieving these problems now for a week not
sure what has happened but i thought i had found the
fixes and now a new one has poped up.grrrrrrrrrHelp me
please if possible.
Problem 1)Service Control Manager The Remote Procedure
Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly. It has done
this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be
taken in 60000 milliseconds: Reboot the machine. It
reboots but will happen again.
Problem 2)ACPI AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to
an illegal IO port address (0x70), which lies in the
0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could lead to
system instability. Please contact your system vendor for
technical assistance. (no idea what is going on here)
problem 3)ACPI AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from
an illegal IO port address (0x71), which lies in the
0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could lead to
system instability. Please contact your system vendor for
technical assistance
Problem 4)DCOM The server {A1F4E726-8CF1-11D1-BF92-00600
81ED811} did not register with DCOM within the required
timeout.
Problem 5)Installation Failure: Windows failed to install
the following update. - 821557: Security Update (Windows
XP) - Security Update for Windows XP (815021) - 811493:
Security Update (Windows XP) - Security Update for
Windows XP (823980) - 823559: Security Update for
Microsoft Windows - 817606: Security Update (Windows XP)
It wont let me download any of the updates even from the
Microsoft web site says failed each time.
If I could get any help i would apprecitae it you may
even email me at my email address.
