Lost password - clueless?

My best friend forgot her XP password, which locks her out
of her computer completely. Is there anyway to get her
back into her PC. I tried Safe Mode and getting in using
the Administrator account, but all I have access to is a
command prompt of the C:. When I minimize the command
prompt window, all i get is a black screen behind it, no
Windows OS. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks...

Go to http://support.microsoft.com, "Search Knowledge Base", select Windows
XP, search for "forgotten password"

If you have not created a password reset disk and you have also forgotten
your administrators password there is no (known) way of logging on to
Windows XP.
