Hi,
I'm running Win XP home edition.I am also running Norton=20
Internet security 2003.
I have given my daughter an account with limited=20
authority because I don not want her to fool arounf too=20
much with the computer. This has been working fine for=20
some monhts.
However, sunndenly now since one week ago or so, she's=20
having troubles in running Java scripts that open new=20
windws from the web browser. Typically she's in a=20
discussion group where the "reply" button starts a java=20
script that =F3pens a windows on top, for her to write re=20
reply in. This works fine with my account (admin auth)=20
but does not work with her limited account.
Nothing happends (no new window opens). After some hazzle=20
I managed to get a debugout from the click saying "access=20
denied" or something like that.
As a workaround I have now given her admin auth, but I do=20
NOT want to retain that for a very long time...
Can anyone tell me why this happens?
