The files may have been archived. Obviously, you would
have been asked by outlook whether you wished to archive
or not and you may have inadvertantly, not taking too
much notice of the message, pressed Yes. Take a look at
the bottom of your folder list to see if there is a
folder called Archived Folders. if there is, then check
the sub folders to see if your messages have been
archived to this folder.
