Can anyone give me step by steps on how to make the a
drive, c drive and CDROM drive inaccessible on a training
computer so that crew cannot load their own programs or
access the contents of the C drive and screw up the
system?

I would be grateful for any help you can provide me.
thanks
Mike

I can recommend DeviceLock software -- exactly what you need:

http://www.protect-me.com/dl/

From the description:

"DeviceLock gives network administrators control over which users can
access what devices (floppies, serial and parallel ports, Magneto-Optical
disks, CD-ROMs, USB drives, ZIPs, etc.) on a local computer. Once
DeviceLock is installed, administrators can control access to floppies,
CD-ROMs or any other device, depending on the time of day and day
of the week."
