Hi all. I have a folder named "test" in my c drive that i have given a userA
read only permission. I have checked the effective permission and userA
indeed has only read rights to the folder. However userA is capable of
deleting the folder. I then created another folder named test2 under test
folder(restored frm recycle bin) and set modify rights for userA to it. But
userA could not modify this folder. Why is this so? Thks in advance.

Use Special Permissions in the Advanced tab and specifically *Deny* the
user the right to delete files and folders.
