Hello,
I have recently bought a new pc with xp home installed on
it. I created accounts for 2 other users all with admin
privileges, so there are 3 accounts in total. When I was
setting it up it asked me who is the computer admin, so I
typed in my name ect. But now my one of my users brother
has messed about with it and now I cannot get into some
folders. Is there anyway at all in which I can check to
see weather or not I still am the computer administrator?
And if not how can I change it back like my users brother
did you me. I would be very grateful to anybody who can
help me on this.
Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel;
Go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
If you are Limited User, you will only see yourself.
If you are an Administrator, you will see all with notations whether
they are Limited or Administrators.

To change from Limited to Administrator and vice versa:
Log in as any Administrator.
Go to User Accounts in Control Panel.
Select a user and select the option to"Change the account type"

If you can not log in as an Administrator, reboot, pressing F8 once a
second.
Select Administrator.
Then go in and change yourself to Administrator.
