does anyone know how to turn the help screen off. tell me
how to in each step and please give me directions if i
want to change it back. I DONT want the help screen
coming up, sometimes. What should i do????? email me at

What (which) Help screen? Your message is titled "password." The only time a
help screen appears for that is if you incorrectly type your password.

*Maybe* disabling the XP Welcome screen and using the Win2000 style logon
screen instead will avoid the password hint from appearing. Have not tried
that so don't know for sure.

Or assign a blank password to your account. You will lose the benefit of any
features that require a password (scheduled tasks, some network functions)
but there will be no password hint screen if you mistype.
