service manager

I am trying to load zonealert to my windows xphome
laptop. I get an error message that says i must go to
service manager and disable true vector service to load
the application. how do i do this?

I'm not familiar with this particular service, but in general, here's how to
open the service manager:

Right click "My Computer"
Select "Manage"
Select from the tree: "Services and Applications" and then "Services".
