right-click on start menu

I cannot get right-click to work on the start menu. I
would like to delete some programs off of the start menu
by right-clicking. When I try, it blinks and goes back
to the program menu. Any suggestions?

More info on the Right Click issue will be helpfull, for now you can get rid
of those programs by going to Start -->Settings -->Taskbar and Start Menu,
Choose the advance tab and then Remove, check the programs you want to
remove.

Right click on start menu, properties | start menu tab | customise |
advanced tab then check "enable drag and drop". I've no idea why, but it
works.
