For the past four months, since I've begun using Windows
XP, all I did was turn on the machine and Windows would
load and I would see my desktop. Now, all of the sudden,
I'm asked to logon at a logon screen that didn't used to
be there. I don't need the logon screen since no one else
uses my computer. When I looked to see how to change
preferences so that boot up would bypass this step I
couldn't find a way to do so.

Any advise? Thanks

See "How to Enable Automatic Logon in Windows"
