Any way to eliminate the annoying "your computer might be at risk..." from having windows update turned off? The damn thing pops up every few minutes, and I don't want to turn on update.

Go to the Security Center. Under "Resources" (on the left side), click on
"Change the way Security Center alerts me." Untick the box for Automatic
Updates.

Control panel, security centre, click on 'change the way security centre
alerts me. Uncheck Automatic Updates
