Problem Description: Computer is a home computer with Windows XP Pro.
I have 1 CD Rom device and 1 CD Rom/DVD device. Both devices are not working
because of a corrupted/missing/ or otherwise invalid device driver(s). Below
are the device names and both have exclamation points next to them in device
manager.

Following path
Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager/DVD-CD rom Drives

LITE-ON COMBO SOHC-5236V
MSI CD-RW MS-8348

Clicking on both drives shows error Code 39. I followed all instructions and
still have not managed to get working drivers for either of my Cd/Dvd devices.

Windows drivers for these devices have been corrupted or missing. How do I
update or change the device driver without using the CD of Windows XP Pro...

Can I download them or have them updated manually through the internet.
Please provide VERY SPECIFIC instructions on how to do so. Thank you very
much.
Operating System: Windows XP
