Transfer of data from Window 98 to Window XP

Using Fastwiz from XP and a new serial cable I was unable
to connect the computers. Both computers displayed a
dialog box stating they were trying to connect. Waited 20
minutes and no soap.

Was your "serial cable" a null-modem cable? Serial to Serial connections on
computers require this.
