When using Corel WP on laptop and on desktop, my curser
jumps to the beginning of document during typing. Now, it
also does it when typing into an e-mail, such as this
one. This also happens to a friend on his laptop. Can
you help?

Peggy,
Two separate issues here.
Leaving aside the possibility of accidentally hitting keys, it sometimes
happens with laptops that either heat build up within the laptop, or static
buildup on you can have that effect.
Allowing the laptop to cool, and grounding the static from your body (by
touching for example a hot water system radiator) may cure that problem.
The only instances I've seen with flaky desktop cursors have both been fixed
by replacing the keyboard.
There may be other causes I'm unaware of so check back for other posts if
these don't have results.
Hope this helps

Perhaps you should watch your language when typing? ("Curser" vs.
"cursor"...).
