XP Internet Access ..?

A friend has asked me to look at their machine, He can access the
internet from his XP Login. But his wife Can not..?

Any Suggestions on what to watch out for..;

Obviously , I will compare Internet Connections & their Settings +User
Account Rights.

Any Suggestions/Similar Solutions / Feedback .. Would be Welcome

Can her host ping www.yahoo.com?
Can it ping the router?
Can it open the router's internal web server (for configuring it)?
